Bringing together the Banana Shire Council chambers, administration building and art gallery in a building that is inviting and does justice to these three important functions presented a significant design challenge for CORE Architecture.

The solution: Connectivity via landscape buffers and glazed bridges to emphasise the three components while maintaining the council’s vision for one centralised facility.
