The Ken Thamm Centre acts as the thread between the junior and senior precincts at the College and in effect is the academic heart of the campus.

Glazing is used to frame specific and playful views, while allowing controlled natural light into the space.

A large central atrium sets up an axis while framing a double height view to the remnant rainforest that surrounds the site.

The centre comprises a 130 seat lecture theatre, a variety of learning areas, sound-proof studios, individual study areas, and a reading lounge.

The space has since become a case study for libraries and resource centres that meet the educational demands of 21st century learning.
