The Health and Sports Centre has become one of the most recognisable buildings on the Sunshine Coast thanks to its noteworthy exterior and impressive sustainable features.

The roof’s expansive overhangs fold to become walls, and fold again to become an awning layer on the lower level, providing a dramatic statement.

Louvres at the high level have ensured that air-conditioning is only used for special events, with further efficiencies sought through the use of motion sensitive and efficient lighting fixtures.

The Stadium itself is 3705sqm including three netball, basketball and volleyball courts and four badminton courts all on a timber sports thrust floor.
