A complex renovation and extension to an existing Cancer treatment facility in Nambour. The goal is to provide a caring environment that is warm and welcoming for patients whilst catering for all of the clients’ technical and operational requirements.

Careful external façade treatment, landscaping and internal finishes will allow patients and staff to transition between different operational zones comfortably, without confusion, reducing anxiety and uncertainty in difficult circumstances.

The project incorporates new radiation absorption materials imported from the U.S., not currently utilised in Australia and is expected to be completed in mid 2012.
