The street front of this residence cleverly conceals a much larger scheme of two separate pavilions over three levels with a breezeway gallery connection and stairs providing the link between living, recreation and sleeping areas.

The steep topography of the site has been used to maximum advantage for the living areas and bedrooms to take in the northerly aspect and views towards Cylinder Beach.

A nautical theme is carried through the building with the adoption of specific colours, stainless steel elements, timber floors and plywood cladding, with an emphasis on high ceilings to facilitate natural light and ventilation.
